Welcome to my site. I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Center for Business and Public Policy (CBPP) in the Gies College of Business, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My re­search lever­ages large ad­min­is­tra­tive datasets and causal analy­sis meth­ods to in­ves­ti­gate the so­ci­etal costs of en­vi­ron­men­tal pol­lu­tion and the ef­fec­tive­ness of reg­u­la­tory poli­cies. My re­search in­ter­est lies in the in­ter­sec­tion of en­vi­ron­men­tal eco­nom­ics and pol­icy, health eco­nom­ics, and la­bor eco­nom­ics.

I re­ceived my Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021. I re­ceived my mas­ter’s de­gree in Public Administration from the University of Maryland - College Park in 2014 and a Bachelor’s de­gree in Economics from Wuhan University in 2012.
